Legal news note – Covid-19 – n°1
Since the confinement ordered by the decree of 16 March 2020, the notaries and employees of the Lasaygues Group have continued their activity.
If we use teleworking, we have also set up a permanent notary office on our premises. All employees and notaries can of course continue to be reached by e-mail or on their direct line.
Exchanges and negotiation meetings can continue by conference call and/or video conference.
Once the draft deed has been agreed by all parties, it may be signed by means of power of attorney in strict compliance with the rules governing authentic instruments. In order to facilitate the management of these signatures, the Law Firm can offer you the use of electronic signature of powers of attorney via a service provider whose electronic signature process has been certified by the ANSSI. This solution may also be considered, under certain conditions, for the signature of certain private deeds.
The activity is certainly continuing, but it will undoubtedly be disrupted, which is why we wanted to inform our clients, via the attached note, (i) of the difficulties faced by notaries and (ii) of the services still available in compliance with the economic, health and regulatory issues at stake.
The Lasaygues Group’s teams are naturally at your side to answer your questions on these various subjects.
